In chapter 15 I learned more about time based effects. I learned about the origins of delay and how it came to be used today. I learned about the things that make delay sound like it does such as time, feedback, and depth. I also learned about reverb and the different types such as plate, spring, hall, and room, and how reverb is actually just a bunch of delays. In the studio with Mark Sinko we worked on mixing a song that another student recorded. It was a rock song so we worked on getting the kick drum to sound powerful as well as the guitar and snare.
