In this chapter I learned about mastering songs. Mastering is very important to the final product since it is what all the replications will be made of. It is important these days to master things to a loudness level similar to songs of the same genre so that it can compete with them. It is also important when mastering an album that all the songs have very similar levels so that one song is not louder than others. In the studio with Mark Sinko we recorded Vic Vaughn who was talking for a commercial for Bourne Toyota. We got the levels on the pre amp and compressor and gave it a nice sound.
