Chapter 12 was all about mixing. This chapter talked about balancing everything, it involves creativity and plenty of practice. Just like anything else the more you practice the better you get at something. It will also help to get familiar with certain sounds and what you need to do in order to adjust them. It is best to have everything organized before starting the actual mix like labeling your tracks and placing your markers, etc; this will help with time. Then you would begin the mixing process which consists of leveling, panning, eqing, compressing, adding effects then eventually bouncing. Once it is bounced it then goes to the mastering, they make there adjustments then they send it off to duplication and make the CDs.
