In this chapter I learned about compression and dynamic processing. I got an outline of what they do and how to use them. They said this part of mixing is important because this is were you balance and blend the mix. I read about some of the history and some different compressors. Learned about analog compressors vs digital compressors. I also went over the parameters for the compressor, expanders and gates. I learned some different compression techniques and then started to compressor the tracks for the mixing assignment.
