I really enjoyed this chapter on MIDI programming. As a producer, I spend a large amount of time programing MIDI and I was able to learn a lot about the history and different functional sides of MIDI. I also found it valuable learning about the quantize function in Protools and how manipulating the swing can create different feelings dependent upon what was being quantized. I look forward to using these new tips I learned from this chapter in future productions.
