There was a sports reference for you, but in case anyone is wondering I'm actually talking about Assistant Engineering at the studio! This past weekend - Merry Christmas yall - was the closest I've gotten to handling the preparation and running of a recording session! Next week is when I will recieve ProTools and being the hands on training for the software along with the physical session work like placing microphones and getting some necessary ear training in.

Are you as stoked as I am? I've also just begun production on two new tracks of my own that will eventually be mixed and mastered by yours truly. It's funny how this program and training surrounds the technical aspect of audio but informs the rest of my craetive endeavors. Life is a hoot.
