Second week into the ProTools education, boy this is expansive. The shortcuts guide was about 65 pages long to start, but watching the tutorials has provided a solid progession for studying the material. There is so much to learn is was tough to know where to start but I have got it now. We should be going over signal flow next week in greater detail, the funny thing about this program is that it boasts teaching practical knowledge for use in the studio but skipping some of the technical aspects leaves a gap in our education. I get what they are trying to do in the way the curriculum has been organized but for those who have never worked on a live mixing console there will be some defecits in the ProTools training.
