In this lesson I learned about automation. It was interesting to learn the history of automation. Back in the day, engineers wern't able to save their work after they where done working in the studio for the day. They would have to start all over the next day and write down every detail about how much compression they used, what db level they had the volume at, etc. Now a days, we can just hit the save button when ever we please and not worry about losing all the hard work we just created.
