On the first day I was learning mic connections and the basic functions of the control board. Another student and I spent time giving eachother different outputs to connect to, it was a lot of repitition. The repitition makes it easier to understand and retain the information. On Tuesday I went into the studio for about an hour and observed from the back while Rick was giving a student a Pro Tools lesson and a few other students were just hanging out sharing music.
