This week I finished chapter 3 on Digital Audio. Things got a little more mathematic in this chapter, at times it was confusing. The Nyquist Theory, for example, was difficult to understand alone. During my lesson with Rick, he explained it in relevent terms and cleared up vocab that I was unfamiliar with. I've got the signal flow for the control board almost memorized, my next step is to know exactly which sections of the board i'm working on. A few members of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra are coming in to record this week: sadly, i'll be missing it because i'm going home for the weekend to visit family. Rick assured me there will be more opportunities to watch professionals recording in the future, i'm very excited!
