We had a slide guitar player come in today. Well, he claimed that he just briefly learned for the song he was laying down. He was absolutely amazing at it though and honestly i wouldn't doubt that he just picked it up becaue he is one of the best guitar players i have seen. He was very creative with what he was doing. For example, at the end of the song he held out his last tone and then turned all the tuners on the guitar down so it gave it a dirty ending. After i saw him do that i attempted to recreate what he did and he made it look too easy...i was not as successful. That just gives me something to work toward. Every time i am in the studio i observe another cool idea for future projects!
