We had a metal band come in today to lay down some drums. i thought how we set p the drum mics was very cool. We used more condenser mics than brett has ever used a drum set before. We got a super bad ass sound from the drums that the band was really happy about. I thoght the was brett used the two dynamic mics for the kick drum turned ot really nice. A shure sm 57 inside and a larger diaphragm mic fr the outside gave it a really nice bass sound and very clear. I am excited to set up for more drum sets in the future and to see what we will use for different styles of music.
