I ended up taking a week off from work and the studio to go home and sing at the Harwood waterfront Festival! I had stage spot for an hour and prepared to sing and play guitar solo and with a friend from back home. I picked a variety of new and old country songs in order to please the wide variety of audience I was expecting. This was my second time performing for my hometown and I was invited back again to perform next year. There is nothing like the good warm feeling of going back to your roots and visiting old friends and family, and I got the added benefit of enjoying, playing, and listening to music. The show went extremely well bedsides some of my sheet music falling into the water, and witnessing another artist knocking over the amp. I love to sing country music and I cannot wait to get back into the studio to record behind the desk and may possibly in front of the microphone.
