While Shawn has been away on holidays I took his advice and bought myself the Mac mini and USB superdrive. It is a powerful little computer that I plan to use alongside protools and my MBOX to record music for this course and future use. Although I did spend some big bucks, I am positive this is a wise future investment. I am all set up and am awaiting the arrival of my materials from school. I set up my own little studio room with my keyboard and guitar, and computer. Although the bedroom is not yet sufficient for recording, I have learned how to properly make this room recordable through the use of bass traps, isolation techniques, floating, and many more aspects the course has taught me that I plan to utilize. While Shawn is away I am continuing reading material and working on building my own little studio room.
