My first week at SongSmith Records was everything I had hoped it to be. When I arrived I was informed that we had artists coming to record, so we went into the studio and set up the equipment. Jeff told me that being prepared for the artists before hand should always be a priority. After an hour and a half of setting up, we were then able to go over the chapter for the week and discuss the material. Sound and Hearing was a pretty basic chapter but I was surprised at all the information I was unaware of. I learned tons of information regarding waveforms and frequencies. After we reviewed the chapter the artists arrived and we soon began recording them. It was quite an experience getting to see how the system works on my first day in the studio.
