Week 10 at blue light studios! This week Tad was back in to mix the tracks for his new album. I watched in as he and Kaj used different plug-ins and effects to tighten up entire songs. Mixing things like drums, pianos, acoustic and electric guitars, basses, vocals, synthesizers, midi instruments, and rhodes keyboards. It was fun to hear each track individually, especially all the different mic's used on the drum kit. Tad also re-recorded some of his vocals on certain tracks and in the end the songs and his new album are really coming along. It's fun to watch the two of them get different ideas and work together to make all of the tracks very original and well done.

This week I also began working on my sine wave project. It's fun to start finally playing around in pro tools! I'm trying to make maybe a sort of hip-hop/funk beat. Not entirely sure yet but we will see what sunds i can come up with and what it all turns into. Fun! well that's it for this week. Next weeks midterms!
