Well had a full day at my mentors studio and the place was jumping as usual. Donnie was excited that all the new gear would be coming in between March 8 - 11 and with it he will be able to do some different things. I told him that I should be around and would love to help him set some stuff up so I'm looking forward to coordinating with him. Took my final and I got an A-, just missed a few questions - ones I should have gotten right. Donnie was cool, he went over the whole 72 question test with me and explained each answer. I later showed him my mix because I had some questions about it and of course he new what was wrong right away and told me how he would group things so there are less faders. So I'm going to work on this tonight and tomorrow so I can turn it in by this weekend.
Also, today Jessie (Donnie's right hand man) was invited to a screening of "Girl House" since he did a few of the songs in the movie. So a group of us hopped in the car and drove to the theater off Wilshire Blvd. We were late due to traffic but we only missed like 15 mins of the movie. The movie was good..not gory but just enough suspense and "a-ha" moments to keep you in tuned. The main guy who was killing the girls was good also, big guy playing a physical role and he moved when he was chasing one of the girls. At the end we stayed to see the credits and Jessie had 3 songs up there - good for him. Some of the actresses were there also so pics were taken and alittle mingling took place after the show.
We got back to Glendale about an hour later because traffic on the 101 was sooooo bad but it was cool. In all it was a good trip and I hope that movie does well because they did a good job all around i thought.
