Another good week with Danny at National Recording Studio. Learned about many different types of microphones as well as proper placement on everything from piano to drums. Really starting to understand that the most important tool you have in the the studio is your ear, and your ability to make desicions based on what you are hearing. I also got to sit in on a couple of local hip hop artists with some real talent. Fun session and learned a lot once again, especially on cutting vocals cleanly and meshing them together so they sound like one continous flow. Looking forward to what this week will bring!
