Another good week, sat in on a few group vocal sessions which gave me the oppurtunity to see some different mic placements in use than i have before. Learned how to best use the room for such a performance as well as creating a good balance in the mix when there is more than one musician using the same mic. During my lesson me and my mentor got to talking about NAMM and all the new technologies that are being introduced as well as those making a comeback (analog synths, etc). This led to a couple hours of learning about the different types of synths in the studio and their functions.
