Another exciting week! Learning about mic placement and got to sit in on a few sessions that related very well. Recorded an acoustuc guitar and vocal session where my mentor took some time to explain different setups and placements. Interesting seeing how just a few inches or slightly different angle can effect the sound in such a dramatic way. Also recorded a vocal session with a sennhieser dynamic mic instead of the typical condensor and it sound very crisp and clean. Tallked in depth with my mentor about miking drums which was great being that i am a drummer. Cant wait to sit in on more sessions this week and continue to learn different techniques.
