Today I was very proud walking into ES Audio because of the A I earned on my chapter 3 test. Immediately I go to the control room to find Jesse, Ronnie, Tiffany, and Josh. Josh is in the live room prepping for tracking for acoustic guitar. Jesse is in the control room with the others listening to mic placement. Jesse records acoustic guitar for his track and comes back into the control room again. We listen and Jesse and Ronnie record vocals in the vocal booth and live room. One take is all they did before the next clients were in for the live room. I got to talk to everyone and got to know them a little bit better. Later on I met Victor and we both talked to Donnie about our lessons. We spent about an hour talking about questions and chatting. It felt very busy. I saw how an engineer prepares for tracking and sat in a session. Donnie helped clear up questions I had and clarified much of the course material.
