This was another lesson where I was given historical insight to earlier creations of equalization and improvements that followed years after. This helped give me a clearer understanding of what to look for and how to navigate through similar plugins with different features. I tried my best to apply my new found knowledge of EQ to my mixing assignment. When I met up with my mentor Joe from Miller Street Studios, he was able to iron out any misunderstandings I had about this particular lesson. I also had the priviledge of sitting in on a session where I met an older couple who wanted to record an audio version of a book that was written by the wife. They were nice and it was quite interesting to hear these personal past experiences of life and death.
