This time around I learned about Time-Based Effects which has to do with different types of Reverb, Chorusing, Delay, Flanging, and Phasers. Not much to say about this this particular chapter other than the knowledge of other tools to help complete my mixing assignment. Like ever other chapter it was very informative and I didn't feel that anything was left out and like always I was given a clearer understanding of the topic at hand when at Miller Street Studios. The session I sat in on was another visit from the elderly couple was were working on their audio book. This time around I sat in with not one but two other RC students and listened to more epic tales from this couples life. As Joe recorded the readings while leveling out certain setings, the husband laughed histerically at the same stories (that he told us he's heard a thousand times) as if he had heard them for the first time.
