This week I learned about automation and it was kind of funny to find out that a lot of what I learned in the material was outdated as far as how you are taught to automate manually and how easier it is to automate bt simply using the pluign sends to accurately apply delay and reverb to particular parts of a track. This is became one of the few moments where I was able to sit behind the console and be hands on with a previously recorded project and play around with delays and reverb. Considering how short this chapter was, it was very informative as far as letting me know about things like latch, read, write, and touch. This is something I going to have to get used to over time with personal experience to really wrap my head around these affectively.
