So, I figure it's fair to let you know what you're getting into before I start rambling on.
It was brass playing that gave me the opportunity to move to England. During my time in Manchester, I recorded with some of the top orchestras, brass bands and function bands across the north of England. I also played on cruise ships since 2011 and toured Europe and the UK extensively. After 5 years of being a freelance and studio musician in Manchester, I have moved back to Colorado and am really excited to be working in a busy studio in Denver!
I have dedicated this space to all things audio. My goals with this blog are varied. First, I'm going to write about my experiences while at the Recording Connection (I can't wait for you to read about my first day. It was epic!). Second, I am going to share some experiences I have along the way. Whether it's a gig I've just played, a video or article I've read, or a concert I've been to. This is the space for all things audio.
So keep an eye out for new posts. You just might find something worth telling your friends about!
One last thing... At the bottom of each post, I'll always include something I think you NEED to experience. If you're sticking around to read all these, you should be rewarded anyway right? Check out the song of the day. I’ve just started working on an arrangement of it for my next solo recital. Euphonium and electronics?!? Who could imagine such a thing? A big thanks to "TV Phil" for showing me this one!
