Major: Audio Engineering

My name is Kristen and I'm a music lover. I had fallen in love with all aspects of music from an early age, but it mostly began when I started learning how to play guitar when I was 11. Since then I've become an avid concert goer, vinyl music collector, and voracious reader of wikipedia articles about how all my favorite albums were produced. My life has consisted of listening to as much music as possible, reading about the lives of my favorite musicians, and waiting countless hours on sidewalks to be up close to the magic of live gigs. I've even traveled to France just to see my favorite band play! But those were just my early days as just a music fan. Now I strive to learn as much as possible about the background of music, to become an audio engineer and apply my knowledge in many different fields, such as music producing, engineering live music shows, and perhaps even becoming involved with engineering sound for movies, television, and video games. I know it's tough for a girl to step into the music industry, but I'm determined to take up what as been my passion since I was a kid and turn it into my lifelong career!

I study and work at Terminus Studios in Times Square, New York City with my mentor, Sax. My favorite band is The Beatles and my favorite music producer of all time is George Martin, and I'm also a huge fan of the Abbey Road Studios engineer, Geoff Emerick, who worked on the Revolver and Abbey Road albums.
