Chapter 18 was all about acoustics and monitoring. The set up of a studio and control room is really important for recording and finding the best sound. High ceilings and odd shapes rooms will really help with the sound, instead of the sound bouncing off the walls in a perfect square room they should bounce in a room with things on the wall and odd shapes walls/ceilings.
