And The Learning Process Continues Posted on 2013-07-31 by Kamela Singh

Date of Session: Wednesday, June 10, 2013
Time in: 11:00am
Time out: 5:00pm
Lesson #: 14

List one or two paragraphs on what you learned, what did you do?

This week has been great! Not only did I gain some great hands on experience in the control room but also some great experience recording my own vocals within Trench Recordings. Within the past few weeks, I have learned many things like; setting up a session, altering the playback engines, setting up inputs and outputs, setting up microphone for different sources and most importantly setting up the patch bays. It has been quite the learning experience.

While recording my two songs, there were many things I was able to shed some light on and that I already knew and there were many things I took away. Being able to be in an atmosphere where you can just take in all the good vibes and knowledge just helps make the process that much more enjoyable.

Write down model numbers and manufacturers of equipment or gear you've worked on.

  • Soundcraft Ghost
  • Pop filter
  • CAD VX2
  • XLR Cables
