Yesterday was my fifth day in the studio. If you couldn't tell by now i'll usually be doing one of these posts after every day I've spent in the studio. It was an awesome day. There was an artist in named Charles Lage, doing some vocal & piano tracks and he had Len (my mentor) do some guitar for him. I did most of the tracking, for my first time. Len was coaching me but I think I did great. Shortly after Charles had left, a band from Vancouver by the name of "Astrakhan" came in to rehearse for their show here in Winnipeg last night. Another student also showed up so Len had us both doing minor edits to Charles' songs while the band was in the other room doing their thing. About an hour after the band left, another musician by the name of Bob Chartrand came in so put some finsihing touches on his album. He brought his friend Deano to re-do a saxaphone solo and it was pretty cool to experience. I'm learning more each day and I love it !
